a. Note:   as allowed a Revolutionary War pension on application executed 7 Jan 1833. His widow also received a pension, W.3774. The abstracted info send by Jan Davenport 17 Sep 2011. There must have been a Bible record, as all of the children and birth dates were included in the file. Series M805 Roll:116. Dates of events are from this pension abstract. Researched by Dr. Glen Garrison and Jan Davenport. Miss Ruth Choice is a daughter. She married Mar 1823 Hancock Co., GA to Mr. Wyatt Harper, by Geo. Reeve, Esq. (GA Settlers, V9 p133 Nov 2008) GA Newspaper articles show the name Tully Choice (Jr.) in Hancock Co., GA, researched by Betty Sparks 6/19/2011. Pension abstract sent by Jan Davenport shows Tully Choice, Jr. enlisted in the spring of 1776 in the part of Pittsylvania Co., VA which became Henry [then Franklin Co.] He was promoted to Lt., then Capt. He moved from VA to 96 Dist., SC in 1784, then in 1792 to Hancock Co., GA. He married Rebecca on 15 Aug 1791 in Laurens Dist., SC. Evidence she was dau of Drury Sims, see above.
