Notes
a. Note:   eorge W. and John W. Bolling. According to the 1820 census of Munfordville, Hart County, Kentucky: Susan Bowling had the following in her household: 2 free white males of ten and under sixteen (probably was James Madison and George Washington) 1 free white male of sixteen and under twenty six including heads of families (probably was William Wood Bolling.) 1 free white female of ten and under sixteen (probably was Polly M but this would be a close one on age for her) 1 free white female forty five and upwards including heads of families (probably was Susannah herself) 6 number of persons engaged in agriculture 2 male slaved under fourteen 1 male slave of fourteen and under twenty-six 3 female slaves under fourteen 2 female slaves of fourteen and under twenty-six 1 female slave of forty-five and upwards 14 all other persons except Indians not taxed From Joy McCook 10/20/2005: [This census image is in Bolling folder as SusanBowling1830Hart Co., but it is a recopied version listed alphabetically by first letter of last name, so you can’t tell who the neighbors are.] According to the 1830 census for Hart County, Kentucky: Susannah Bowling was listed as having two females in her house. One was between age 20 and 30 and the other one was between age 60 and 70, I presume this was Susannah who would have been about 64.
Note:   Hart Co., KY census, age 70-80 (widow of Jonathan), living between sons G
