Notes
a. Note:   In son Paul's baby book, Louise was indicated to have been born on "Seventh St., Buffalo, NY" Louise attended public school in Buffalo, graduating from Bennett High. She went on to secretarial training at the Bryant & Stratton business school in the city, and was then employed as as secretary-clerk at a city bank until her marriage. Louise lived in Snyder (Amherst Township), NY, for the remainder of her life. She and husband "Stan" Haas moved to a rental flat on Harlem Road, one house away from Amherst School #18, where their children Paul and Elaine eventually spent all their early school-years (grades K-6). In June 1950, on the same Saturday that the Korean "conflict" broke out, the family moved into a new home; 126 Avalon Drive, Snyder, NY. Louise remained a homemaker until Paul started college, and then returned to the workforce. After clerking in an area department store for a while, Louise returned to the type of work that she was trained for and preferred. She became a secretary in the main library of the University of Buffalo (today this is the library for the Graduate Campus of the State University of New York (SUNY) at Buffalo). She was later promoted to charge of the Periodicals Room of that library, where she continued until her retirement at age 65.
