Boicourt, 68, a former resident of the Westport community, died at 9:15 p.m. Sunday in Memorial hospital here. For several years he had been in impaired health. His condition had been serious for the past two days. The son of Zack and Jane Pickett Boicourt, he was born at Westport on May 25, 1891. His father was a widely known citizen of the Westport community and for many years arranged Old Settlers' meetings near Westport. He was a descendant of pioneer families of Sandcreek township. Mr. Boicourt spent his early life in Westport. For a quarter of a century he resided in Pensacola, Fla. where he engaged in the produce business. He has resided on R. R. 1 Greensburg three miles northwest of this city for the past four years. A member of the Westport Methodist church, he was also affiliated with the Westport Masonic lodge. His marriage to Elizabeth Harrell occurred at Louisville, KY on July 16, 1918. Besides the widow, Mrs. Elizabeth Boicourt, he is survived by a brother, Charles Boicourt, of Franklin; two nephews, Roy L. Boicourt of Anderson and Robert E. Boicourt, of Burbank Calif. and several cousins. He was preceded in death by two sisters, The Misses Etta and Cora Boicourt and a twin brother, Harry Boicourt. Funeral services will be held at Gilliland-Howe. Burial will be in Mt. Aerie cemetery at Letts.
