OH 103rd Infantry He was Mustered Out on 6/12/1865 at Raleigh, NC --civilwardata.com -- Seattle Times, November 28, 1909 SHRIER FUNERAL SET FOR THIS AFTERNOON Last Service for Real Estate Broker to Take Place at Bonney-Watson Chapel Funeral services for Frank Shrier, a well-known real estate broker who died in this city Wednesday, after a brief illness, will be held at 2 o'clock this afternoon, at the Bonney-Watson Chapel, after which the remains will be cremated. Shrier was born in Cleveland, Ohio, and was 60 years old at the time of his death. He had been a resident of Seattle four years, during which time he accumulated a competency by judiciious real estate investment. He was a veteran of the Civil War, serving throughout the conflict in an Ohio regiment, and his name appears on a monument erected to the soldiers and sailors in the Public Square at Cleveland, Ohio. Prior to coming to this city Mr. Shrier was a resident, for a number of years, of Los Angeles and San Francisco. He is survived by a widow and daughter, who were spending the winter in California at the time of his death. Although they left immediately upon notification of his illness, they did not succeed in reaching his bedside before his death.
