Copy/K./ Ufford Funeral services were held at Molina Baptist Church, Nov 27, 1964, 2:00 pm. Officiating Minister was Rev. Fred Thompson. Quartet: Dick Drexel, Wallace Currier, Peggy Currier, Carrol Peugh. Pallbearers were Miles Reed, Glen Taylor, Neal Johnson, Claude Tracy, Louis DeWeese, Francis Chapman. Obituary: Mrs. H. R. Milholland Sr. A Plateau Valley pioneer, Mrs. H. R. Milholland Sr., 75, died Monday at 9:40 p.m. in the Plateau Valley Congregational Hospital following a long illness. The Milhollands had ranched on Georgia Mesa for many years. Mrs. Milholland came to the Valley in 1895 as a child of six, traveling with her family from Denver by covered wagon. She was born Nina B. Skinner in Hazard, Neb., the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. S.C. Skinner , on Oct 23, 1889. She attended local schools, and college at Spencer, Iowa, and Ft. Collins. The Milhollands were married at Plateau City on Feb. 21, 1912, and moved to Georgia Mesa. She was a member of the Baptist Mission Circle. Surviving in addition to her husband are four sons, Herbert Jr., Grand Junction; Gordon, Molina, Howard, Denver; and Stewart, Clifton; two daughters, Mrs. Ortis Bucher, Pine Bluffs, WY and Mrs. Ernest Chapman, Collbran; a brother, Charles Skinner, Hagerman Idaho; 20 gramdchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Service will be at 2 pm Friday at the Molina Baptist Church. The Rev Fred Thompson will officiate. Burial will be in the Mesa Molina Cemetery under the direction of Martin's Mortuary.
