Note: Death date from memorial from Funeral. As written on the memorial paper: "Tribute To A Cowboy" There is a bond to the land Between Horse and a Man That strengthens with time Like aging fine wine 70 years does not diminish the rush Of jumping a wild one in the brush He rode the ruff ones And when he came to town He was the quickest at tying them down He raised a family and had a son Who in the world they say is No. 1 At spinning Ponies and making them slide Today his great grandson is at his side Bet it was"Grandpa" that taught him to ride We, his companions are proud to ride with him after cattle. The end to this verse is, Jr. you always rode darn good horses and always hung and rattled. by Jack Gully, Lyle MaHaffey, Jack Hutchinson and Chad Held (your great grandson).
