Note: d of DeBeque, Colorado passed away February 11, 2006 at home peacefully with his family at his side. Stewart was born to Herbert R. and Nina Bell Skinner Milholland January 7, 1929, in Georgia Mesa, Molina, CO, where he spent his childhood and graduated from the 8th grade. Stewart graduated from high school at Collbran Union High and attended numerous short courses in Animal Husbandry and Artificial Insemination of Cattle. He retired in 1987 due to health. Was a ranch manager for registered cattle operation for absentee owners most of his adult life and had an artificial insemination business for a number of years. A pioneer in the field of beef cattle. Stewart lived in Idaho, Wyoming, Missouri and Montana before moving to DeBeque. Stewart was a life member of American Angus Association and the American Quarter Horse Association. Enjoyed all livestock, hunting, fishing, wood working and most of all his family. Survivors include his wife Donna, two sons, Stewart Clark Milholland Jr. Nevada; Ray Fred Milholland, Grand Junction; daughter Diane Darline Milholland - DeOnier; two step-sons, Ronnie White, California; Merlin White, Missouri; two sisters, Frances Bucher, Molina, Helen Chapman, Collbran; and eleven granchildren and three great grandchildren. Funeral services will be on Wednesday, February 15, 2006 at 1:30 PM at the Open Bible Fellowship Church in DeBeque, with Pastor Greg Kline officiating. burial will follow at the Mesa-Moling Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to Snell-McLean Funeral Home.
