  Sacrest, Johnny The youth Johnny Secrest died due to drowning Labor day while fishing at a dam in the place called "Las Tienitas" (Near Taos, NM) Great efforts were made by persons that were in the area but to no avail as they could not save his life.  Youth Leader Drowns at Taos
 Taos - John Secrest, local youth leader, drowned Monday in a private lake in Taos Canyon, State Police reported.
  Secrest, about 30 years old, was a lifelong resident of Taos and had been prominent in Scout work and in local youth activities.
  Bank President J P Brandenberg, a friend of Secrest's, said no one had any details on the drowning. He said Secrest's father, D G Secrest, was cashier of the Taos bank for 15 years.
  Survivors include Secrest's widow, Barbara; a daughter, six months; his mother, Mrs D G Secrest; and a sister, Mrs Verne Sackett of Taos.
