Note: Our Lady of Mount Carmel Baptism record reads: William Richard Owen was baptized at our church on March 26, 1922. Although the actual year of his birth was not indicated in our records. His parents were Richard M. Owen and Margaret Malloy. At the time, they lived at 730 W. Aldine Ave. which is within the parish. The one Godparent listed was Harriet Lutz. Rev. Joseph A. Casey was the celebrant. Miss Lutz, a retired Chicago school teacher and the last surviving charter member of the Catholic Women's league, died Sunday in Belleville, St. Clair county. Surviving are three nephews, Bertram and Lucian Lutz and Gilbert Buhmann, and three nieces, Isabel Kob, Helen Curley, and Marie Buhman. Obituary found for Miss Harriet B. Mrs. Buhmann, who with her late husband, Theodore, established Theodore W. Buhmann & Son, real estate firm at 2581 N. Clark st., 65 years ago, died Friday. Mrs. Buhmann also was one of the founders of the Catholic Woman's league here. Survivors are a daughter, Marie; a son, Gilbert, and a sister, Miss Harriet B. Lutz.
