 in pocket when arrived in USA at age 23. Traveled to USA in 1911 with
 Domenico DiFelice (age 17 from ?Montorio al Vomano).
  Cousin Nicholas living in Beverly, NJ, age 25 when married. Wife was 22
 at marriage. Witnesses at marriage were Pasquale and Maria Di Ludovico.

  With brother, Davide, sent $ to family of Dionisio Ulissi who had
 returned to Italy to bring a wife and mother (Luisa Taraschi) to USA.
 Giovanni's nickname, known to all was "Joe Green." Legend it was given
 because of his pugilistic abilities. Re one source, name Joe Green was
 likely a misnomer for that of the name "Joe Grim." Joe Grim (1881-1939),
 aka "The India Rubber Baby", was boxer from Philadelphiaa. Died at
 State Hospital at Byberry, Pennsylvania. Described as "unknockoutable,"
 was knocked down more times than any other fighter in history.
