Note: WPDQ April 27, 1987 Beatrice Stubbs funeral Tuesday Funeral services for Beatrice Helen May Stubbs, 63, West Plains, will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday in the Carter Funeral Home Chapel, West Plains, with the Revs. Harold Urich and Don Adkins officiating. Mrs. Stubbs died at 4:20 a.m. April 25, 1987, in Ozarks Medical Center. She was born Jan. 24, 1924, in Douglas County, the daughter of the late James and Nora Collins. She was married June 5, 1944, at Kansas City, Kan., to Fred Harold Stubbs, who preceded her in death Dec. 21, 1983. Survivors include three sons, Dennis R. Stubbs., Arnold Stubbs, and Ronnie Stubbs, all of West Plains; one daughter, Brenda Jewtell, West Plains; six brothers, Floyd Collins, Parma, Idaho; Lloyd Collins, West Plains, Delbert Collins and Arlin Collins, Kansas City, Horace Collins, Willow Springs, and Edmond Collins, Kansas City, Kan. ; and 10 grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, one son, Donald Stubbs, two sisters, Pauline Holdt and Oline Brown, and three -brothers, James, Paul and Edward Collins. Visitation will be from 7 to 8 p.m. today at the Carter Funeral Home, West Plains. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer -. Society and may be left at Carter Funeral Home, West Plains. Burial will be in Howell Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Carter Funeral Home, West Plains.
