Note: West Plain Daily Quill Delores Stubbs services Thursday Funeral services for Delores Annabelle Stubbs, 65, Springfield, and formerly of this area, will be 2 p.m., Thursday, Sept. 9, 1999, at Carter Funeal Home in West Plains, with the Rev. James Lewis officiating. Mrs. Stubbs died 7:45 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 5, 1999, at Maranatha Manor Nursing Home, Springfield. she was born Sept. 21, 1933, in Howell County, the daughter of Hobart and Della Collins Collins. Mrs. Stubbs attended Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Springfield. Survivors include her mother, Della Collins, Springfield; 13 children, Dannie C. Stubbs and wife, Connie, Galena, Doyle Stubbs and wife, Kathy, Lula Bell Barnett and husband, Mike, Molly Woolery, Dwayne Stubbs and wife, Edna, Boyd Stubbs, and Polly Salley and husband, John, all of Springfield, Annabell Usher and husband, Rex, Cape fair, Nancy O'Dell and husband, John, Fair Grove, Loyde McClain Stubbs, Fulton, and Donald D. Stubbs, Paul Stubbs and wife, Sherry, and Floyd Stubbs, addresses not given; four sisters, Velma C. Hayes and husband, Roy, West Plains, adn Lorene Marcum, Shirley Collins, and Donis Davis and husband Clark, all of Springfield; 28 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father; and one daughter, Bonnie Kay Stubbs. Burial will be in Howell Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Carter Funeral Home Inc. of West Plains.
