According to Allman White Ida and Will had 9 children, 5 girls and 4 boys. ************ West Plains Daily Quill, Thursday, April 21, 1960 Heart Attack Fatal For Mrs Ida Collins Mrs Ida Jane Collins, 65, Siloam Springs, widow of W R Collins, died of a heart attack at 2:25 yesterday afternoon in West Plains Memorial Hospital. Mrs Collins suffered the heart attack at 11 o'clock yesterday morning at the home of a daughter, Mrs Sid Collins of Siloam Springs. She was rushed to the hospital after the attack. She was born in Douglas County Dec 13, 1894 to the late Daniel and Rebecca White Collins. She spent her entire life in Howell and Douglas counties. She was married in Howell county 48 years ago to W R Collins. He died Aug. 26, 1949. Surviving are five daughters, Mrs Sid Collins, Siloam Springs, in whose home she died, Mrs John Brixey, Parma, Idaho, Mrs Mack Collins, Salt Lake City, Utah, Alma Belcher, Pottersville, and Bertha Reynolds, Hayward, Calif. Four sons preceded her in death. There is a brother, Willie Collins, Raymondville; six sisters, Ethel Clinton, Bakersfield, Calif, Gertie Stubbs, Joplin, Stella Johnson, Ellington, Alta Collins, West Plains, Eller Collins, Kansas City and Carrie Collins, Siloam Springs. She was a member of the Pentecostal Church since early womanhood. Funeral arrangements are incomplete awaiting the arrival of the children but will be under the direction of Robertson Funeral Home. West Plains Daily Quill, Friday, April 22, 1960 Rites to be held for Mrs Ida Collins Funeral services for Mrs Ida Collins will be held at 2 o'clock tomorrow afternoon in Siloam Springs Church with Rev Ira Johnson officiating. Burial will be in Old Horton Cemetery under the direction of Robertson Funeral Home of West Plains.
