On August 14, 1929, she was married at West Plains, Missouri to John James VonAllmen who preceded her in death on April 8, 2000. Mrs. VonAllmen is survived by four daughters, Marvell Kassing, Chesterfield, Missouri, June Pulos and husband, Gus, St. Louis, Missouri, Barbara Parker and husband, Ned, Owasso, Oklahoma and Sue Brown and husband, Dan, St. Charles, Missouri; five grandchildren, Cindy Kassing Melvin and husband, Mark, Jason Pulos and wife, Barbara, Steven Parker and wife, Kim, Ellen Brown Cole and husband, Greg and Daniel Brown; four great grandchildren, Billy Melvin, Catherine Melvin, Elean Pulos and Gussie Pulos; and several nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband of seventy-one years, and one son-in-law, William H. Kassing. Mrs. VonAllmen died 10:15 p.m. Wednesday Feb. 12, 2003, at her daughters home in Chesterfield. She was born Sept. 9, 1907 in Howell County, the daugher of Daniel and Relda Belle Johnson Collins. On August 14, 1929, she was married at West Plains, Missouri to John James VonAllmen who preceded her in death on April 8, 2000. Mrs. VonAllmen was of the Baptist faith with her membership in the First Baptist Church of West Plains.
