Note:   From the West Plains Daily Quill Jessie Ford Services Thursday Graveside services for Jessie Berniece Ford, 82, West Plains, will be at 2 pm Thursday, Nov 12, 1998, at Howell Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Carter Funeral Home of West Plains. Mrs Ford died at 5 am today, Monday, Nov 9, 1998, at Beverly Health Care, West Plains. She was born July 4, 1916 in Dunn, the daughter of John Morris and Lou Vina Hunter Ellison. On June 11, 1931, she was married in Howell County to Carl Ford Sr. Mrs Ford was of the Pentecostal faith. Survivors include six children, Maxine Ross, Lake City, Iowa; Opal Maynard and husband Sam Jr, Wilma Earls and husband Charles, and Carl Ford Jr and wife Charlotte, all of West Plains; Louise Webster and husband Don, El Dorado, Kansas; and Jimmie Dale Ford and wife Twila, Sioux Falls, SD; one brother, Ed Ellison, West Plains, 13 grand children; Carol Heim, Jackie Beyer, and Terrel Ross, all of Lake City, Iowa; Pete Jordan, Jan Squire, Sammy Maynard Jr., and Mark Ford, all of West Plains; Sharon Bacon, Ozark, Daphne Keese, Witchita, Kansas, Angie Ford, New York City, NY, Gunner Ford and Ty Ford, both of Sioux Falls, SD; and Linda Bennett, Willow Springs. many great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, one brother, Lester Ellison; one granddaughter, Ellen Blum; and one son in law, Earl Ross.
