Note: West Plains Daily Quill March 19, 1979 William P Collins dies in Utah Word has been received here of the death of Perry Collins, who died in Salt Lake City, Utah. Mr Collins was born April 9, 1903, near West Plains, the son of Daniel and Bell Johnson Collins. He was married Sept. 8, 1923, in West Plains to Lucy Stubbs, and he was of the Morman faith. Survivors include five daughters, Mrs Wilma Barney, Murray, Utah; Mrs Norman (Thelma) Flanigan, Arizona; Mrs Jean Paulson, Richfield, Utah; Mrs Lillian Frost, Rock Springs, Wyo.; Mrs Al (Mabel) Turner, Grantsville, Utah; one son, Paul Collins, Salt Lake City, Utah; 16 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren; three sisters, Mrs Minnie Stubbs, Willow Springs; Mrs John (Mary Ellen) VonAllmen, West Plains; Mrs James (Pearl) Lawing, West Plains; two half sisters, Mrs Harve (Bessie) Lovans, West Plains; Mrs Elsie Slavins, Kansas City; and two half brothers, Lonzo Haring and Arthur Haring, West Plains. Preceding him in death are his parents, his wife, one daughter, three brothers, and two sisters.
