a. Note:   . Beloved wife fo the late David S. Gissel. Mother of Deborah and David Gissel. Sister of the late Clem and Bill Sullwold and Marion Couty. Sister-in-law of Betsy and Bob Dombourian, Margarite and Julian Gissel and Gloria Sullwold. Also survived by nieces and nephews. She was a retired employee of Jefferson Parish and an active member of Mt. Olive Lutheran church, American Legion Post #175 Auxiliary, East Jefferson Hospital Auxiliary, YMCA Society and Republican Women's Club. Aged 87 years, a native of New Orleans, LA and a resident of Metairie, LA for the past 70 years. Relatives and friends of the family, also teachers and staff of Roosevelt Middle School and employees of Louisiana Gas Service Company are invited to attend the Funderal. Visitation from the Metairie Funderal Home of L. A. Muhleisen & Son, 2929 Metairie Road on Wednesday, February 8, 2006 from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and on Thursday from 8:30 a.m. until 10:30 a.m., follwed by a service at Mt. Olive Llutheran Church, 315 Ridgelake Dr., Metairie. Interment in Garden of Memories Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations to Mt. Olive Lutheran Church Memorial Fund, 315 Ridgelake Dr., Metairie, LA 70001 or the East Jefferson Hospital Foundation, 4200 Houma Blvd., Metairie, LA 70006, preferred.
