a. Note:   FRED J ROBERTS Somers Point - Fred J. Roberts, of 106 Osborne rd., died last Thursday, Dec. 30, in Shore Memorial Hospital. He was 78. A native of Brooklyn, N.Y., Mr. Roberts had resided in this area for 12 years. He was a retired construction estimator, a member of the fourth degree Knights of Columbus and a member of the American Society for Mechanical Engineers. Surviving are his wife, Olga; three daughters, Mrs. Marie DesRosier, of this city, Mrs. Elizabeth Yborra, of Wilmington, Del., and Mrs. Nancy Yborra, of Turnersville; four sons, James A., of Tulsa, Okla., John C., of Neptune, Fred J., of Agawam, Mass., and Leo R., of Hawaii; two sisters, Mrs. Frances Williams, of Summit, and Mrs. Helen Chalmers, of Nutley; a brother, Raymond A., of Long Island, N.Y., 37 grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Requiem mass was held Monday at St. Joseph's R.C. Church. the Ocean City Sentinel Ledger, Thursday, January 6, 1977, p 3, section 1, col 3
