Maxey - child of Pouncey Maxey of Ga. Wm. Maxey 1783-1854 Son Walter, posssibly wife or daughter Ann Swanson Maxey. These born Henry Co. Va. Walter supposedly married Rebecca Haynes. These Maxeys (Maxcy) werein the earliest existing census off Montgomery Co. Alabama . Then they moved to NOXUBEE CO. MISS. Remained there from about 1831-1840. Then he sold everything to brother Pouncey Maxey on April ll, 1840. Pouncey made deed of gift of all this to Rebecca "in consideration of the natural affection for children : James M. Lucinda, Rebecca, Walter, Martin Van Buren, and William." Recorded Washington Co., Tx, 3 Nov., 1841
