Notes
a. Note:   [Ulrich.FTW] The Ulrich line is proven to the immigrant with primary source items. John Daniel - Margaret Immigration: Naturalization on John March 5, 1857, Erie Co, New York. Had to have resided 5 years. Census, New York 1840 has John Ulrich-not John D or Daniel - age is correct but one child under 5--could have died but it shows on 1850 as Mary L. 8, NY born, not on 1860. Implies residences: NY-RI-NY DEATH: Real effort made in Erie Co. and surrounding area. All available cemetery records read - he was 41 in 1860. Do not believe he died in Erie County or that he died before 1870. OTHER POSSIBILITIES: Colebrook, Orwell - Ashtabula Co. NY: Clarendon, Warren Co. PA : No cemetery or church records checked there. These people were all Oklahoma Territory Settlers. In 1900 OK census, Wm. H. Morey, shows to be living, along with wife, Jennie, in the home of James F. Ulrich. Also brother-in-law, Frank P. Morey, 17. 1910 Oklahoma Census: Code U 462 James F., Theresa, and Carl B. all in Canadian County. Carl is a separate family. 1900 Oklahoma Census, Canadian Co. James F., Wm. H. Morey, Frank P. Morey, and John H. Ulrich From 1914 - 1916, Jim , according to the El Reno American, installed acetylene lighting plants for the Wichita Lighting system. He was written up each year when he paid his subscription to the paper. His 1915 mini-biography states him as a gentleman owning a 40 acre farm, raising Tamworth hogs, and selling lighting plants all over the County. Brother Carl is described as one of the prosperous corn and alfalfa growers, who also owns 200 hogs.
