Note: Burt was born and raised in New Jersey graduated from high school there . He was in the high school band playing a trumpet. Upon graduation he attended Casey Jones School of Aviation engineering. Also studied a correspondence course in early radio from NRI. During World War Two he wen into the Marines and was a Sergent in charge of a an airplane ground crew for a fighter plane unit. Upon return to the US after the war he persued a carrer in plastics incorporating his radio knowledge and helped develope the electronic seal on beach ball life rafts etc. He worked for Bristol Myers and for a short time with Ingersoll Rand in Painted Post NY. He married Olga and raised his family living in several places in New Jersey. When the kids grew up he moved to Florida but returned a few years later to be near his grand kids, he now lives in William town NJ. Near his eldest son and their family. Burt was always known for his honesty , hard work, and his varied interest ie: stained glass, TV, and is a store house of general knowledge. He also remembers most of the family history and has been a great help in this family genealogy. His humor is always at the ready. Video tape interview available. Also photos.
