Notes
a. Note:   Uncle Luke and Aunt Etter owned a small general store on the east side of Little Rock, of which a picture exists, in the possession of Grant A. Simpson. As a small boy Grant would accompany his Grandparents, Clyde and Lela Wilkerson, and Uncle Luke and Aunt Etter Wilkerson on fishing trips to Harris Brake, about an hours drive northwest of Little Rock, where they had built cabins side by side. The cabins had electricity but no running water. Aunt Etter had a comical habit of "lipping" her cigarette, and she and Uncle Luke constantly nagged at each other.
