Notes
a. Note:   Kay Munson Staggs believes that James P. Munson's middle name is "Picher". There is a Picher Munson in Martin Cemetery, labeled as Grandfather, adjacent to Lucy Ann Williams who is labeled as Grandmother. The stones were probably placed after 1900 by a later generation, and the dates and the labels are not in concert with land and census records. The referenced grave is probably James P. Munson, but he was not the husband of Lucy Ann Williams as the gravestones would have you believe. James P. Munson served in Company F, "Pulaski Rangers", of the 1st Arkansas Confederate Mounted Rifles. He was enlisted in Little Rock on September 2, 1861 and served until the end of the war. Among many other engagements, this Regiment was present at the Battle of Chicamauga on September 19, 1863. (From "First Arkansas Confederate Mounted Rifles", by Desmond Walls Allen). Lula, Ollie and Nara's names and birth years are known only from the 1880 Federal Census, Pulaski County, Arkansas.
