a. Note:   Living in New Hampton as of 1983/84. He was married but his wife died and they had no children. From the Easton Gazette: Charles H. Pickel, 96, of Washinton Borough, died Thursday, Feb. 27, in Easton Nursing Center after a short illness. He was a farmer and construction laborer, retiring in 1971. Born December 13, 1900, in the Stanton Station section of Clinton Township, he was a son of the late Ross and Katharine Yawger Pickell. He had lived in Washington Since 1974. There are no immediate survivors. Graveside services will be held at 1:00 pm, Monday in Newell Cemetery ih Readington Township. The Ford Funeral Home, 234 W. Washington Ave., Washington, is in charge of arrangements.
