a. Note:   Peter lived n Stephenson Co. IL. He came to Lancaster in 1849 from Union Corners, PA with his wife and nephew M. D. Aikey. PETER PICKLE - Obits from Freeport, Illinois papers
  Peter Pickle, an old and esteemed resident of Cedarville died today after a long illness. He was a retired farmer. His wife is reported to be dying also. Mr. Pickle was born in Union County, Penn. And came west and settled in Lancaster in 1849. He was married in 1855. He leaves no children. The funeral will be held Thursday at 2 o'clock at Cedarville. Rev. B. P. Ludy will officiate.

  On Tuesday of last week in Cedarville, Peter Pickle died. Born Union County, Pa. Came in 1849 to Lancaster this county wife and nephew M.D. Aikey survive.
