 Jacob Apgar, b. 18 July 1746, d. 6 May 1814, m. Hannah Charity Pickle, daughter of Conrad; Hannah was b. 20 Mar 1754, d. 21 Jul 1846. Jacob and Hannah are buried at Lebanon, NJ. Jacob was a yeoman and blacksmith. He owned the farm where Cole Alpaugh farmed, 1/2 mile N.W. of Cokesbury. His will was probated on 21 April 1814. All property was divided equally between the 12 children after the death of his widow. Executors were sons, Frederick and Conrad Apgar. Inventory - $6,808.59 made by
 Conrad Apgar and John Hoffman. Note: Records of the Lebanon Church show a first wife of Jacob as Gertraud and the first 6 children as hers, (2) wife as Hannah.
