a. Note:   t and was accused of stealing turkeys and plotting the murder of a Hunterdon Co. judge in the Livingston Papers. His father is believed to be Franz Willem Pickel/Bickel (Francis). It is believe that he too was a Loyalist and moved to Canada with his son.
Note:   He lived in Hunterdon County, New Jersey before the Revolution and migrated to Canada in 1783 and settled in what is now Hampton, New Brunswick. He also ran a ferry on the Kennebecasis River at Hampton, New Brunswick, Canada. He was a Loyalis
