Feb. 13, 1812 Abraham Pickel of Readington conveys to Baltus A. Pickel land in Readington. Wit: Baltus Pickel. From More Records of Old Hunterdon County, Vol. II pg. 39, FEb. 11, 1823 Abraham Pickle of Readington Twp., dec'd, made by Isaac G. Farley and Abraham Voorhees. It included an old riding chair, crops, livestock, implements of husbandry, warping bars, 1 clock reel, gun, cherry dining room table, silver teapot, silver watch, sliver snuff box, sliver shoe and knee buckles and a taylor's iron. Also, there were notes and/or due bills against John J. Kline, Tunis Melick, Nicholas Ott, cornelius I. Wyckoff, Isaac G. Farley, George Cooper (desperate) and John Farley (desperate). "An account of settlement with Minard Pickle and order on Baltis 'A. Pickle given by said Minard Pickle dated mach 2, 1816." Total: $2,740.49. Proved Aug. 5 1823 by Baltis A. Pickle, sole executor.
