a. Note:   From the Easton Express/Gazette April 24, 1923,page 8 Amos Pickle died suddenly of heart trouble on Sunday at his home near Fairmount, aged 69 years. He is survived by his wife, one son at home, another living near Whitehouse and one daughter. He was a member of the Chester Lodge No. 209, I.O.O.F., of Long Valley. The funeral will be held from his late home, near Fairmount on Thursday. Interment will be made in the Naughright cemetery.
  Rev. J. Clewell Ottinger, pastor of the Reformed church, officiated and interment was made in the Presbyterian Cemetery at Fairmount.
  He was a farmer and had always resided in the Pottersville section. ON his farm was located Camp Brett, the fresh air home for children maintained by the Hudson County Christian Endeavor Local Union, for may years.
