a. Note:   r Martin Luther Timmer, a lawyer in Hunterdon County, and Minerva's brother Dr. David Moore, a physician. Peter and wife went west to Jerseyville, Ill., ca 1865; by ca 1877 they were living inWichita, Kansas, where Peter was the proprietor of the Daily Houe one block west of the county building. They moved back east to Harford Mills, Cortland Col, N.Y. and then to Owego, Tioga Co., N.Y., ca 1885, where he was the proprietor of the United States Hotel on North Avenue. THey moved in 1893 to Port Jervis, Orange Co., NY where they were active members of the First Presbyterian Church. Peter died 1921 at the home of is daughter in Rutherford, N.J. It is his children whose births are recorded from 1863 to 1872. After Peter W. Trimmer the Bible was owned by his son, Israel Moore Trimmer. It currently is in possession of charles Moore Trimmer of Schenectady. NY.
  He is listed on the Federal Census of 1860 for the township of Readington, Hunterdon County, New Jersey. The census states he was 22 years old at the time and living with is parents.
Note:   Peter W. Trimmer was born in New Germantown; he was married March 19, 1862 at Liberty Corner, Somerset Co., to Minerva L. Moore daughter of Israel Moore of Liberty Corner. They were married by Rev. M. Rantkins in the presence of Peter's brothe
