a. Note:   e two men had been together and had an accident. The seven children born during this period all were baptized in Zion Lutheran Church. In the summer of 1804, Henry Baltus sold his NJ farm and moved all his family to the vicinity of Trumansburgh, Seneca Co. NY. The seven Pickel children, in 1804, ranged in age from a 20 year old son to the youngest, a daughter not quite six years old. Third of the seven was Henry, he was almost 15 years old at the time of the move. From Genealogies of New Jersey Families, pg. 786, it mentions B. Henry Pickel who married Mary/Maria on Jan. 21, 1783 at New Germantown. He was 67years, 11 months and 28 days old when he died. NY Gen & Biog Record Vol 54, pg 382 state that he took his seven children with him when he moved.
  It is stated from other sources (Beverly Smith) that Baltus was confirmed in 1780.
Note:   His real name was Baltus Henry Pickel but he went by Henry Baltus Pickle. A month after his birth his father (Henry Pickel) died. On that same day that his father died, his grandfather Johann Balthasar Pickel died also. It is possible that thes
