a. Note:   1820, Aug 02 Last Will & Testament of Absolom Atkinson In the name of God Amen the 2nd day of August 1820 I Absolom Atkinson of the County of Adair and State of Kentucky being weak in
 body but of sound memory thanks be to God but calling to mind the
 mortality of the body and knowing that it is appointed for all men once
 to die do make and appoint this my last will and testament in words
 and form following
 First I desire that all my just debts be paid out of my estate 2nd I give and bequeath to my dearly beloved wife Nancy Atkinson my whole estate both real and personal to be possessed of during her life
 And I also desire that my daughter Nancy Atkinson and her children be supported out of my estate so long as she may choose to stay or
 until the decease of her mother.
 And after the decease of my beloved wife for the whole of my estate what remains to be equally divided amongst all my children.
 And I do hereby constitute and appoint my trusty friends, namely - Zachariah Taylor, Isiah Atkinson and Morris Atkinson my executors to see
 this my last Will and Testament carried into full execution
 agreeable to the intent and meaning of the same.
 And I do hereby revoke and disanull all and every former Will or Wills.
 In witness whereof I have set my hand and seal the day and year first above written.

 At a County Court began and held for the County of Adair at the courthouse at Columbia on Monday the 4th day of September 1820
 The last Will and Testament of Absolem Atkinson deceased was produced in court and proven by the oath of Samuel Crawley and Archibald
 Skaggs subscribing witnesses thereto and ordered to be recorded
 and on the motion of Zachariah Taylor one of the executros named in
 said will who took the oath required having also given bond with William
 Bradshaw his security in the penal sum of $4000 conditioned as the
 execution of said will was granted him directs.
 It is ordered to be Cerified, leae is reserved that Isaiah Atkinson and Morris Atkinson the other two exors named in said will to join
 in the said probate thereof if they should think proper.
