Note: In the 1900 Census James and Emma were in Central, Rockingham, VA with Mary b. 1897 and George b. 1899. In 1910 they were still living in the same place with Mary E. age 12, Stella M. age 9 and Edmund L. age 6.
In the 1920 census in Canton, OH he 45, she 46 both born in VA were living with their daughter Mary and her husband Norman Rank a wagon driver with a milk route. James was an electrician. Son Edmund age 16 and daughter Mazella age 5 were also living with them.
