a. Note:   Pierre (Peter) left from Le Harve, Seine-Inferior, France on November 3, 1900 aboard the ship La Champagne and arrived at Ellis Island, New York on November 11, 1900. On the ship's manifest he stated he was 19 and bound for San Francisco and was to meet Jean Pierre Mirasoul there. Peter worked at the French laundry in San Francisco, CA as did Ursule his youngest sister. Peter is described as a stout, strong man who had strong family ties and was the main person behind the annual family reunions at Clear Lake, CA.

 The 1920 census finds Pierre and his family living in Benicia, Solano Co., California. He had married a second time to an Italian woman named Rose. She stated she had come to the US in 1913 and became naturalized in 1916. She appears to be the mother of Albert B., the youngest child on the census who was shown as 2 years and 8 months old.
 The family also included Genevieve age 12, John M. age 10, and Harriet age 8.
 All the children were born in California.
 Pierre stated his occupation as Laundry Man and Rose was an Ironer at the laundry. The family resided at 494(?) First St., Benicia, Ca. Rose's brother John (age 34) was also living in the home.
