Note: OBITUARIES. HENRY N. REED. (Jan. 1898) Henry N. Reed died at his residence on Main street, at noon, Monday. He had been confined to the house several days from grippe, and recovering sufficiently returned to his duties as book keeper at J. P. Ames. A relapse of the disease followed, which developed into pneumonia, death occuring four days later. Deceased was 32 years of age, the eldest son of Henry A. Reed, cigar manufacturer, of this city. Seven years (ago) he married Miss Minnie Cole, who with two boys, aged three and five years, survive, A few years ago Mr. Reed purchased one of the Hasbrouck lots on Main street and had erected a very nice dwelling, where they had established their family residence, which is thus broken up in the dawning of life. Deceased was a young man of strict habits, ambitious to a fault, a kind and affectionate husband and father, and had hosts of friends. He was a member of Elijah White Lodge, 590, I. O. O. F.
