 Ida's obituray was published on September 2, 1927 (one day after her death) on page 5, in "The Frederick Post" Frederick Co., Maryland.

 Mrs. Ida Kessler Jones, widow of George F. Jones, died at 11 o'clock Thursday at her residence, Hyattsville. Mrs. Jones was the eldest daughter of Lloyd Kessler and wife, formerly of Jefferson, and was a sister of Mrs. Samuel Hargett. West Third Street. She was a lady of culture and by her loveable qualities had endeared herself to many friends. Funeral services Saturday morning at 11 o'clock from the former residence, with interment in Greenmount cemetery, Baltimore.
