a. Note:   Sarah received a silver set as a wedding gift. This set was handed down generation to generation and as of 1999 was in the family of Kirk Brundage Paige of Los Altos, CA. Sara's great great grandson.

  Obituary:
 MRS. SARAH REED DIED AT BRIER HILL
 -
 Mrs. Sarah Tallman Reed, 88, widow of Henry Reed sied Sunday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Harrie Stevens in Brier Hill, where she had resided since last fall.
 Mrs. Reed was born February 11, 1842, at Black Lake, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Nathan Tallman.
 Besides Mrs. Stevens, she is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Fred S. Paige and Mrs. Ella Field of Ogdensburg, and several grandchildren.
 The funeral was held from the family home, 4 Mill street, where Mrs. Reed had resided since her marriage in 1865, on Monday at 2 p. m. Rev. Mr. Hayes, of the Congregational church, Brier Hill, officiated.
 The pall bearers were Mrs. Reed's four grandchildren, Carl Paige,Ward Paige and Harry Stevens. Burial was in Ogdensburg cemetery.
