 OTO, Iowa - Margaret Louise Wise, 94, of Holy Spirit Retirement Home in Sioux City, formerly of Oto died Thursday, Oct. 16, 1997.
  Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Oto United Church of Christ in Oto with the Rev. Karen Handke officiating. Burial will be in Oto Cemetery. Visitation will be after 4 p.m. Sunday with a prayer service at 7:30 p.m. at the Armstrong Funeral Home in Mapleton, Iowa.
  Mrs. Wise was born Dec. 3, 1902, in Creston, Iowa, the daughter of Otis Ernest and Amy S. (Westevelt) Hamilton. She came to Oto at the age of 13.
  She married Irving Stuart Wise on Dec. 12, 1918. The couple lived in Oto. He died Oct. 14, 1964.
  Survivors include four daughters, Marvena and her husband, Ollie Erwin of Worthington, Minn., Letha and her husband, Mason Ronfeldt of Sioux City, Genevieve Ferguson of Portland, Ore. and Bernice and her husband, Norman Jensen of Sibley, Iowa; four sons and their wives, Loren and Dorothy Wise of Oto, Junior and Ellen Wise of Hot Springs, Ark., Thomas and Ruth Wise of Pierce, Mo. and Dewaine and Ileen Wise of Neosho, Mo.; a sister, Verla Crawford of Holstein, Iowa; a brother and his wife, Marshall and Violet Hamilton of Sioux City; 32 grandchildren; 68 great-grandchildren; and many great-great-grandchildren.
  She was preceded in death by two sons, Cecil and Floyd Wise; four sisters, Ruth Turner, Jennie Jackson, June DeForest and Twila Heyer; and a brother, Eugene Hamilton.
