a. Note:   Rebecca was the daughter of Junius Moody and Lucy Moody in August 1875. She grew in Gaston, North Carolina and was also resident of Occoneeche Neck. She was a member Roanoke Salem Baptist Church.
 According to one source, she was the loudest shouter in church. Her first two children was the children of Bill Rival. He left North Carolina when their children were very young. He moved to Boston. Becky was broken heartened. Many years later she married William Gary. They had __________ children.
 They lived in a place called the Neck which is in the area called Occoneeche Neck. They travelled to the marketplace which in Jackson, to sell and buy food and clothing. Becky was very gook cook and kept a clean house.
 She died in August 1959 in Occoneeche Neck, North Carolina. She was buried in the Moody Cemetery in Gaston, North Carolina.
