Notes
a. Note:   "I know that James Henry and Elizabeth Mill were married in Madison Co., IN, probably at Frankton, but not in a Quaker ceremony. Elizabeth was a Quaker, but James Henry and the four oldest children became Quakers at Sugar Plain MM, Boone Co., IN in 1853. The Mills family first went to Wayne Co., IN from NC in 1833, then on to Madison Co., IN in 1836, where the mother Deborah and daughters, including Elizabeth, were members at Westfield MM, IN." -Jeremiah Mills
Elizabeth was the Mills' family member who introduced the Friends Church (Quaker) influence into the Rosenberger line. Surprisingly, her husband, James Henry, became even more devout than she, and after her death carried the religious teachings and traditions into later generations. -RDR 12/02
