Note: eb 1863. He married Mary M King on 10 Oct 1847 in Quebec. I have info on Mary & their children if you would like it as well. He was taken prisoner during the war and later released. He was discharged from the military due to illness. Family story says he was only to eat a broth diet, but one night Mary made beef stew and the smell was too tempting. Simeon ate the meat and died soon after. He'd been home from war for about 2 months. Note: Simeon Bailaw b. 18 Feb 1826 in Trois Rivieres, PQ, Canada and died 23 F
