Note: Mrs. Paul Provancha died the 19th and was buried at Schroon River the 23d. She suffered for weeks and all that loving hearts and willing hands could do was done for her, but she was called and had to go. She will be greatly missed by her son and family, where she had lived the past few years. She was about 88 years old. She leaves four sons and three daughters to mourn her loss, besides a number of grandchildren. She has seen the fourth generation a number of years ago. Among those to attend her funeral from Vermont were her son, John Provancha, and his wife, also her grandson Wilfred, and his wife from Bristol, and a host of other friends from around the country. A large funeral procession followed her to her resting place in the cemetery on the Schroon Lake road. Samuel Johnson is a guest of Nelson LaBier. He is to stay over to the funeral of Mrs. Paul Provancha and carry out a load of people.
