Note: The Saratogian, 1938 Funeral services for George W. Bailey, V Corners, who died suddenly Friday at his home following a heart attack, were conducted at 2 p.m. today at the residence, the Rev. John B. Freestone, Baptist Church pastor, officiating. Burial was in the family plot in the Ballston Spa Cemetery. Kayaderosseras Lodge, IOOF, conducted a ritual service following the service conducted by the Rev. i;r. Freestone. Bearers were members of Kayaderosseras Lodge. ETHEL I. BAILEY will receive the entire estate of her father, George W. Bailey, who died a resident of the town of Ballston Nov. 25, according to his will, dated Oct. 20, 1931, and petition for probate which have been filed with Surrogate George O. Tuck. Everett Bailey, a son, town of Ballston, is named executor. The will provides the daughter, Ethel, shall receive $3,000 and all household furniture, but the petition for probate says the estate is worth under 82,700 in real and personal property. The will also provided that ice tools, plows, platforms and other tools, go to the son; that a grandson, George W. Bailey, Canajoharie, receive all carpenter tools and a carpenter chest, and that the rest be divided between the nine sons and daughters, Ethel and Everett, George W. Bailey of Canajoharie, Abraham Bailey, town of Ballston, Claude, of Rensselaer; Henry, of London, Conn.; and Lena, Denton, Mrs. Mary Wilson and Dorothy Borner, all of Ballston Spa.

Note: George W. Bailey Dies Suddenly Of Heart Attack George W, Bailey, aged seventy four, died suddenly last evening about six o'clock at his home, just below the V Corners. Mr. Bailey had been in his usual health and had worked about the home until four o'clock, when he was stricken with a fatal heart attack. He was born in Michigan March 25, 1864. He had resided near the V Corners for the past thirty-one years. Mr. Bailey was a member of Kayaderosseras Lodge, I. O. O. F., No. 270, Milton Encampment, No. Ill, and a member of the Past Grands Association of the Saratoga District. He was also a member of Christina Rebekah Lodge. He took an active part in the lodge work and was held in high esteem by his brother members. Mr. Bailey attended the Baptist church. Survivors Mr. Bally is survived by five sons, Abram, Everett, of the V Corners, Claude, of Albany, Henry, of New London, Conn., George, of Canajoharie; four daughters, Mrs. Clancy Denton, V Corners, Mrs. Philip Wilson, Schuylerville, Mrs. William Boerner and Miss Ethel Bailey, of V corners. Thirteen grandchildren also survive: Everett and William Denton, Charlea, Dorothy, James, Mary, George, Jr., Geraldlne, Robert, Ralph, Arllne, Sandra and Walter Bailey. The funeral will be held Monday afternoon at two o'clock from the residence. Rev. John B. Freestone, paster of the Baptist church, will officiate and burial will be in the 'family plot in the village cemetery. The home will be open Sunday evening to friends from seven o'clock to nine o'clock..
