 NORTH CREEK—Struck and killed by the car he had hired to take Mm from his home at North Creek to Ticonderoga, the body of Nelson Denesha, 48, was found about 5:30 p.jn. Saturday by Jesse Cole of South Sohroon on the Pottersville-Schroon Lake highway. The driver of the automoble, Curtis Warner, 49, also of North Creek, charged by State Police and officials of the Warren County Sheriffs office with leaving the scene of an accident, pleaded guilty to the charge and was fined $50. Denesha, formerly of Ticonderoga, was employed for a number of years at the Ticonderoga paper mill. Born in Ticonderoga, he resided there until about five years ego. According to officials, Denesha asked Warner to stop at a grill in Pottersville en route to Ticonderoga. After a considertble wait, authorities said, Warner went into the grill to inquire for this fare and learned thiat Denesha had left. While driving up the highway looking for Denesha, his automobile struck the victim who was walking along the road. After discovery of the body had been reported to the State Police at Chestertown, Lt. L. G. Fenlon, Trooper Meade Kinskern of the BCL and Trooper Midhel Egan, with Deputy Sheriffs Edward Anderson and John Cole, began an investigation which resulted in the arrest of Warner at his home in North Creek at 11 p. m. Warner was taken to the Warren county jail at Lake George and was arraigned at 11 a. m. Sunday before Justice of the Peace Clarence Annistrong of Chestertown. Pleading guilty to the charge of leaving the scene of an accident he was sentenced to 50 days in the county jail or a $60 fine. Warner paid the fine and was released in time to attend wedding ceremonies for a son conducted Sunday. Dr. James Glenn of North Creek, Coronor, ordered Denesha's body removed to the Swain Funeral Home at North Creek and deferred his ver-dict pending a more complete invesftigation. The body was taken Monday to the home of a sister in Ticonderoga. Denesha is survived by two sisters, Mrs. Florence Barber and Mrs. Laura .Provoncha, both of Ticonderoga;
 three brothers, Morton of Olmstedville, Charles and Edward of Springfield, Mass. Funeral services were conducted Tuesday morning at St. Mary's Church, Ticonderoga, with interment at Alexandria Cemetery.
 Members of Ticonderoga Legion Post 224 acted as pallbearers and conducted services at the grave. 'Company K of the local State Guard unit furnished a firing squad at the service.
