  Here is the record for the passenger, Marie Friedericke Walsen:
 She came to America at the age of 46 years old, on the ship Gutenberg, along with her daughters and arrived at Baltimore June 19, 1866, after seven weeks on a sailing vessel, with a destination of St. louis.
  Soon after, she moved to Mascoutah, Illinois.
  After 20, 25 years she moved to Belleville, Ilinois and lived with her daughter Dorette and her family.

  1909 - Death certificate,# 31057 I 11-- Marie F.H. ( Kleinschmidt ) Walsen. Died in Belleville, St. Clair County, Illinois
  She died in May of 1909. She is buried there in the Walnut Hill Cemetery at Belleville, Illinois. Her grave site was visited in 2001 by two of her great great grandson's, Joseph G. Lipic, of St. Louis, Missouri and Fred de Oliveira, of Texas.
  She was born in Heimsen, Germany. She had three brothers. She was educated as a book-keeper, and was married at the age of 20 to, Henry Walsen. He was born in Bad Rehburg, province of Germany, lived in Petershagen. Was a dyer by trade. His wife never legally separated from him but after he went through her estate she left him and came to America with her daughters in 1862.
  Belleville, Illnois Daily Advocate Obituary:
 Mrs. Fredericke Walsen, nee Kleinschmidt, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Dorothea Deichmann, on East Main street early Tuesday morning after an illness of about six weeks, aged 89 years, 3 months and 14 days. Mrs. Walsen was born in Heimsen, Westphalen, Germany, March 4, 1820 and emigrated to America about 35 years ago. Her husband died in Germany. She is survived by her daughters, Mrs. Minnie Risch, of Sacramento, California, Mrs Fredericke Weston, of Albuquerqe, New Mexico, and Mrs Dorothea Deichmann in Belleville. She also leaves six grand children and 2 great grand children. The Funeral arrangements have not been made. Friedrica Christine Maria Klienschmidt
  Jack Underwood the Lipic Family researcher and compiler of these notes, in the year 2002, stood at the graveside of Marie Fredericke Henriette Kleinschmidt Walsen, in Belleville, Illinois, with two of her great great grandsons, Joseph George Lipic III of St. Louis, Missouri and Fred de Oliveira (and his wife) from Dallas, Texas.
