  Mr. Brown was married May 31, 1853, to Miss Sarah C. Worden, a native of Willoughby, Ohio, and a daughter of Holley G. and Mary (Warner) Worden, of Portage, who came to this state in 1851.
  Montello Express Holly Worden, another pioneer settler in this vicinity more than 40 years ago, died at his home of his son-in-law, Azro Morrill, in Portage March 20. The remains were brought to Briggsville for burial. The funeral services were held at the M.E. Church Friday. He leaves 5 daughters - Mrs. Ann Noyes of Baraboo, Mrs. Cynthia Tanner of Briggsville, Mrs. H.S. Thomas of Dakota, formerly of Montello and Briggsville, Mrs. Azro Morrill and Mrs. Ed Brown of Portage, Hiram Worden of Portage and Tom of Iowa, late of this town.
  Portage Daily Register Holly G. Worden died about noon today at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Azro Morrill. Deceased was born at Eaton, New York Sept. 1809. He located at Briggsville in 1851 and 8 years later he removed to this city and since resided. He leaves 7 children ; 5 daughters-Mrs. A. Morrill and Mrs. E.R. Brown of this city; Mrs. H.S. Thomas of Huron, South Dakota; Mrs. Anna Noyes of Baraboo, and Mrs. S. Tanner of Briggsville. The sons are Thos. of Garner, Iowa and Hiram of this city. Funeral will be hold Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock from M.E. Church at Briggsville.
