a. Note:   Frances Osmer Estate 4035 in Pierce County, Wisconsin Petition of C. F. Osmer that Francis died intestate in Pierce, on 16th of March 1903. She was of Spring Valley, Pierce, Wisconsin and left $100. Surviving children listed: C. F. Osmer of Spring Valley; W. E. Osmer son, unknown; C. A. Osmer, son, of unknown and Mary O Howell, daughter of unknown.

  Spring Valley Sun March 5, 1903
  Mrs. Osmer, a lady over 63 years of age, who formerly lived here, was killed by a Central train at Fifield one day last week. She was on her way to Duluth from Waupaca, and at Fifield, through some misunderstanding, attempted to leave the train hurried by a break man. The train was moving slowly when she stepped off and she fell under the wheels and was decapitated. The remains were interred at Spring Valley, where two of her sons live. Her husband died in the state Veteran's Home a short time ago.
  Dunn County - Local correspondence, Weston Township, Mrs. Osmer of Spring Valley, was run over and instantly killed by a train at Fifield, March 5.
