She had a daughter Ruth by Felix. Mary and Tuk had 6 children.Mary Bennett's father was Dupry BEnnett and her mother was "Nancy" who had very long red hair worn in a long braid wrapped around her head. Mary Bennett was named for her father's sister Mary, who married Raby Andrew Kinchen (who had a son Dupry Kinchen, named after Dupry Bennett)
 Tuk and Mary lived in Prairieville under 2 oak tress behind Broussard's near local 102, north of Airline Highway, Prairieville. Around 1932 they moved behind St. John's Church, then later moved to the corner of Old Jefferson and Henry Road. He was a state highway worker.
  FAMILY/STORY: When Tuk injured his foot and had to have it lanced with JD's pocket knife, son JD (age 14) had to quit school and work the farm.
  PROFESSION: state highway worker & farmer
