a. Continued:   Mrs. Mollie Bolin Gaffney - Mrs. Mollie Burgess Bolin, 60, of Gaffney Route 4 on the Spartanburg Highway died Monday at 2:45 a.m. at Cherokee Nursing Homes after two years of declining health and six months serious illness. Mrs. Bolin was a native of Cherokee County and had lived here all of her life. She was a retired textile worker and a member of Cherokee Avenue Baptist Church. Surviving are: her husband, Edward Beattie Bolin; a daughter, Linder Dian Bolin; a son, Albert Burgess of Laurens; two sisters, Mrs. Lola Littlejohn and Mrs. Irene Pruitt, both of Bessemer City, N.C.; and four grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday at 3 p.m. at Shuford-Hatcher Funeral Home by the Revs. Clarence Hampton, Dr. C. A. Kirby and Joe Belcher. Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery. The body is at the home. It will be taken to the mortuary Tuesday at 2 p.m. Pallbearers will be Joe Dean Spencer, Dub Burgess, Junior Bryant, Ernest and Lewis Wyatt, Howard Scruggs, Jack Sangsing and James E. Upchurch.
